It is straight-forward and very easy to I actually think this is a very good textbook. It is straight-forward and very easy to read. It goes over basic anatomy and some basic physiology but you can skip these portions if you did well in those classes. It also has describes some diagnostic tests and diseases which is nice to see how these terms can be applied. Sections are broken down into the systems of the body i. I only wish this book was offered in hard cover.
I bought this textbook for a 'medical terminology' pair of classes, and it's great. The material is clear and easy to understand. There are plenty of exercises to work on to test your knowledge and help you remember more. The site that goes with the book is somewhat limited in its usefulness, especially when compared to wileyplus or the like, but it's better than nothing.
This text book is awesome. It is set up almost like a workbook, and helps your learn just by filling things out. If you're already looking at this book you're probably taking a medical terminology course, but if you're not I would highly recommend this text to anyone going into a medical field of study. This will help you a ton by demystifying all those long and confusing latin terms that dominate the language of medicine.
It's certainly helped me. I'm now not so terrified to go into Anatomy and Physiology and all the nursing courses that will follow. One person found this helpful.
